Fatal error from successful disc backup and from disc.

Post by nathaniel7 » Tue Jun 15, 2010 5:08 am

Title: Nine Inch Nails Live: Beside You in Time (BR)

I have the last MakeMKV for Mac and the latest allcombo.svq. I have 2 different brand Blu-Ray drives. I get a Fatal error if I try to MakeMKV from either drive, but MakeMKV full disc Backup was successful, and I also get a Fatal error when I try to process the Backup to an MKV. Any ideas? Thanks!

The log shows that VC-1 video is encoded not in accordance with blu-ray spec. Is this a regular commercial blu-ray disc?

Then it's a bug in MakeMKV. Your log contains all diagnostic information, there's nothing you can do right now for work around.

Hello there.

I have the same problem with the disc. at least the newer version of makeMKV recognizes the valid length of the main feature, 1:32:28 instead of 40 odd something minutes.

Is it the same disc? The error indicates an invalid VC-1 interlaced stream, or another bug in MakeMKV.

Your full debug log file should contain a lot of additional info. Please mail it to support@makemkv.com for troubleshooting, feel free to remove any private information from it.

Did this ever get resolved? I have the same blu-ray and I get the same error when trying to MakeMKV.

had to make a decrypted backup with makemkv, and then use tsmuxerGUI and mkvtoolsnix to get a working mkv with chapters.
took me several attempts. trying with the new beta once I've got enough time to spare.

Not working in 1.7.77 (OS X). Immediate fail when trying to decrypt.
