Hi,
A newbie question:
I was expecting to find a .mkv file after I had done a backup of my blu-ray disc using makeMKV (v.1.10.2). Am I missing something? Is there a way to get that during backup or do I have to use other tools for that?
Where is the mkv file?
Re: Where is the mkv file?
Backup does not create MKV files - it creates a copy of the Bluray data structure, optionally with copy protection removed.
If you want to create MKV files, you need to OPEN the disk, then select the titles you want. The OPEN button is the big icon that looks like a disk, and spins when the disk is loading.
