"Application Failed to Initialize" w/ 1.4.12

Mike (and Forum Members),

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, and I can't seem to get MakeMKV v1.4.12 Beta to run properly. I get the error noted in the title of the message. I tried a re-install - no dice. Tried 'Run as Administrator' - no dice. Tried rebooting a couple of times - no dice. As soon as I go back to MakeMKV 1.4.11, everything works again.

Very strange. But I'm worried that the 60 day period of 1.4.11 is going to catch me here pretty soon and I won't be able to continue to use the tool.

Mike - I don't know if there's any way that I can give you some debug info by enabling a debug flag somehow, or produce some kind of output that's more descriptive than "Application Failed to Initialize", but if there is something that I can do to help solve this, please let me know.

please try to run the command-line version alone, as in "makemkvcon info disc:0" or "makemkvcon64 info disc:0" if you use 64-bit OS. Please PM me with results and we'll go on from there.
