Optical Drive not recognized after registration

I downloaded the trial version of MakeMKV and it worked fine until the trial expired. I then downloaded the latest verion 1.9.1 and purchased the registration. I had trouble registering but finally got that done. Now my blue ray drive is not recognized. It was recognized under the trial version which I believe was 1.8. The drive is also recognized by AnyDVD, Handbrake and all other programs using the drive. Please advise how to solve this.

Adding the registration should NOT change whether or not the operating system shows the drive to MakeMKV. You can test this by installing one of the older versions.

Are you running MakeMKV as an administrator?
