Decrypt and Backup BD Folder

#1 Post by Claudio » Sat Apr 13, 2013 12:58 am

It appears that I can only use the 'Backup' feature when opening a physical disc. Is it possible to decrypt a BD Folder so I can open it with XBMC and see Blu-Ray menus?

Thank You

Hi!

I believe you can accomplish that by clicking the open folder icon and selecting either "index.bdmv" or "MovieObject.bdmv"...

No, the backup button is still greyed out in OS X when selecting an index or BDMV file.

You won't be able to see Blu-ray menu's in XBMC anyway, AFAIK.

Using XBMC 12.1 and decrypted backups of Blu-Rays I was able to see about 5/20 Blu-Ray Menus. Since XBMC 12 they added the 'view blu-ray menus' feature. Though as you can see they only work a hand full of times.
