Smaller output

How can I make a smaller output?
I got a file about 3 GB, is there a way to make a file that is smaller than 1 GB?

MakeMKV is not an encoder.

You need to process the output from MakeMKV with something like handbrake (http://handbrake.fr/) to compress it.
