Hi,

Attempts to run Makemkv do this on my computer -

MakeMKV v1.7.4 win(x86-release) started

This application version is too old. Please download the latest version at
http://www.makemkv.com or enter a registration key to continue using the current version.

Did this twice, and I don't see any later version.

But also may I ask - the program will create a .mkv file from a VIDEO_TS folder? What amount of compression is/can be applied?

What does the program cost?

MakeMKV WILL make an .MKV from the VIDEO_TS folder of a DVD.

MakeMKV does NOT compress files.
