Loading BD-Files from HD

I have a couple of ripped BD.Disks and am looking for a way to convert them. Unfortunately makemkv seems not to work: when I try to load the index.bdmv-file, nothing happens. (Message: no disk inserted) Can anybody help??

Just insert the original bluray disc and use MakeMKV directly.

It should work. Do you get any errors? How did you rip the disc?

Have you tried to simply PLAY these discs on a stabdalone player or another computer system, or another drive?
