reset windows virtual disc region code?

#1 Post by bob432626 » Sat Mar 14, 2026 5:06 am

recently i found that region reset was a thing for some of the older DVD/bluray drives and was wondering if something similar existed for the virtual drive that windows lets you mount ISO images on. so.... is there a reset region trick for virtual discs?

You need to remove the region lock when you are creating the ISO.

figured, a lot of the stuff im backing up are blurays i found that i accidentally got some region 2 blurays, which is fine because i have a region 2 bluray drive, but windows refuses to mount and play the bluray unless the virtual drive is also region 2

I repeat myself. You need to remove it before creating the ISO. Check XReveal.
