1.17.5 Not Installing On MacOS

I"m on MacOS Sonoma 14 and the new version of MakeMKV 1.17.5 will not install. I checked all the security and privacy and MKV has been given permissions to install. When I try to install and I drag the icon to the applications folder, the system ask if I want to replace the current version and it goes through the process of installing but nothing happens after that. When I reopen MKV, it's still on version 1.17.4 and it shows that a new download is available. Any help would be appreciated. This has never happened before, updates usually install without issues.

Solved! Had to uninstall the current version and reinstall.
