Feature Request: Tag Editor

it will be great to edit the meta data of the movie.
like as the information panel in VLC.

Yes, I admit this would be high on my list as well.. the ability to get metadata that matched what's being MKV'd or a prompt to provide it or an option to do so if we wanted. I would appreciate that greatly.

Maybe not as much as I would if this forum were stripped of all the BS herpes dating websites, but still, I'd appreciate this a lot.

Why would Mike waste time on a feature when MKVToolnix already has a nice header editor?

Chetwood doesnt know what he is talking about. You cannot change/edit that kind of metadata with the header editor..

As far as i know there is no tool at all to do this. You can just give mkvtoolnix a xml file and then i will write these tags into your mkv file. But that requieres a complete remux..

Oh, you mean info you would scrape like movie poster and synopsis?

yes you cant use the header editor for that.

you can just create a xml file and load that into mkvtoolnix before you mux the mkv.
