this long to open/decrypt?

Iron Man 2 usa version. regular dvd.

the decrypting/opening disc is taking longer than i have ever seen. and the remaining time just keeps getting longer. take a look at the screen shot please.

Although I'm certainly not an expert at interpreting Debug logs (That's left to "mike admin"), based on the looping and repetition in the partial log you've shown, I believe you have as your source a DVD that's either physically damaged or dirty, or perhaps not an original, commercial DVD...

it is definitely 100% original authentic dvd. it finally ripped, but i get no audio. only video. i will post the debug log in the other forum.

Have you checked to see if the disc is either physically damaged or dirty?

You might also want to run a cleaning disc on the drive you use for reading. Maxell makes one that sells for about $10US...

yeah the disc is fine, i just ripped it using dvd fab, then made the mkv using mkv toolnix.
