I'm buying some 4K (Ultra HD) discs now, and the usual player I use for creating MKV files, my Pioneer BDR-SX06 portable blu-ray player, obviously does not work for these discs.
My new Sony UPB-X700 (UHD) player has an HDMI port, and my Macbook Pro has Thunderbolt and USB 2 ports .... if I buy an adapter to connect these two machines, will that configuration be recognizable to MakeMKV and allow me to ingest the UHD 4K discs?
