Intel Meltdown (Windows)

Hi all

Does anyone know how much of a performance hit something like MakeMKV might feel with the (mostly) Intel chip problems leaked these past 24 hours?
I understand Handbrake is something that will be heavily impacted, but I'm curious as to whether MakeMKV will now be slower once the Windows patch hits?

Until the patch is publicly available, how would anyone test it?

I don't know but it takes MakeMKV a minute to process a BD ISO...So I don't think it will matter that much...
If you can afford it, just pay for this product...It is really worth it.

I believe Apple has already pushed the fix for the current and previous two macOS releases.
