dvd to mkv problem

dvd to mkv problem

hi,

I never used any software to make copies of dvd's.....
I am trying to make mkv's from dvd's and the only thing I get is this error message:
MakeMKV v1.5.6 beta win(x86-release) started
Using direct disc access mode
Cell 1 was discarded (structure protection?)
Failed to open disc

what is happening, do I need any additional software???

What is the title and region number of your original DVD?

ZEITGEIST: THE MOVIE, it is Region 1, I can play the dvd on my computer....
I managed to rip my old matrix movie, no problem.....

I will ask you only because I can find no indication that this title was ever released commercially on DVD - Is your soiurce something other than a commercial DVD?
