MakeMKV failure

#1 Post by Viper2001 » Fri May 21, 2010 5:00 pm

I used AnyDVD HD and ripped my HD DVD collection. I then used eac3to and extracted the video/audio/subtitle tracks. The subtitle file is converted into PGS using BDSUp2Sub400 Java program. Then I used tsMuxerGUI and mux'ed the tracks together into a Blu-Ray folder structure. This folder plays fine on my HDI Dune media player and the .mt2s file plays fine using VLC player.

Now I want to gather up this BDMV folder into one MKV file using MakeMKV (I just paid and registered).

After MakeMKV was running for about minute on this BDMV folder, I got an error and the operation was aborted. I captured the log file for you:

Debug log started at Fri May 21 16:50:44 2010 , written by MakeMKV v1.5.5 beta win(x64-release)
Using 524544KB for read cache.
001005:0000 MakeMKV v1.5.5 beta win(x64-release) started
001004:0000 Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as C:\Users\XXXXX/MakeMKV_log.txt
003006:0000 Opening files on harddrive at O:/Star Trek 09 HD/
003305:0000 AACS directory not present, assuming unencrypted disc
003307:0000 File 00000.mpls was added as title #0
005011:0000 Operation sucessfully completed
005014:0000 Saving 1 titles into directory G:/
001002:0020 LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception: MKV_ASSERT: TimecodeDelay >= int16(0x8000) && TimecodeDelay <= int16(0x7FFF)
005003:0000 Failed to save title 0 to file G://title00.mkv
005004:0000 0 titles saved, 1 failed
005037:0204 Copy complete. 0 titles saved, 1 failed.

What is wrong? I bought MakeMKV for this purpose and it is not working :?

Hi!
003006:0000 Opening files on harddrive at O:/Star Trek 09 HD/
Are you "mixing apples and oranges" in your post?

I ask because I'm fairly certain that "Star Trek (2009)" was never released on HD-DVD...

I was ripping Star Trek 1966 Original Series, 09 simply means disc 09. Not Star Trek 2009 here.
