Power program???

I'm VERY new to this program and thinking of buying it. I always do love ALL my movie titles in the MKV format. Is this program on the same level as hand brake and the likes? I've been using AVS Video Converter to make my MKV's which has been working but some of the sources don't work.

Well, so far it's been pretty good. Does this program also remove encryption like AnyDVD does? I haven't ripped anything from disc just yet. I'd shell out $30 instantly, but $50 I have to do more testing. One thumbs up so far.
