Libredrive Support & Compatibility - Issues and Successes.

Post by oasroam18 »

Hi everyone,
I'm starting this thread to discuss Libredrive support and compatibility with various drives and discs. There's a lot of conflicting information out there, and I think it would be helpful to have a central place to share our experiences.
I'm particularly interested in hearing about:
* Drives that are confirmed to work with Libredrive. Please specify the exact model number and firmware version.
* Discs that cause issues when ripping with Libredrive enabled (e.g., errors, slow speeds). Please include the disc title and any error messages.
* Any modifications or settings you've found to improve Libredrive performance.
I'm currently using an ASUS BW-16D1HT with the patched firmware and having some trouble with a few UHD discs. MakeMKV throws errors and the process takes forever. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if there's a known fix.
Let's keep this thread focused on technical details and avoid general discussions about the pros and cons of Libredrive. The goal is to build a useful resource for anyone looking to get the most out of this feature.
Thanks in advance for your contributions!

I have the same drive and recently several Triple Layer UHDs aren't recognized from the drive. So this happens. Some say, crossflashing can help. For me it didn't with all discs. So I bought myself a second drive.
