I am using MakeMKV in Windows 11 with the Beta key, and I want to use it to allow VLC to play BluRay discs with my Verbatim 43888.
In MakeMKV, I go to View > Preferences > Integration and click on the VLC tickbox, but when I then click Apply, the box unticks itself. I can click "OK" instead. But whatever I do, when I then go to VLC, Media > Open Disc and try to play from the drive, I get an error "This Blu-ray Disc needs a library for AACS decoding, and your system does not have it."
Does the integration not work with the beta key? If I pay for the permanent key will it work?
