Can I force non OS mode?

Post by wilsotc »

I sometimes get this message (which seems to be random):
Unable to open file "some random m2ts file" in OS mode due to a bug in OS Kernel. This can be worked around, but read speed may be very slow.

When this happens, I'm able to rip at speeds *vastly* better than when I don't see it.
I get roughly 2x speeds normally, but when I get the message above, I get 45 minute UHD speeds at 6.7x!!

Please lords of MakeMKV, add a flag that let's me use the limp mode/non OS mode that happens with the "bug in OS Kernel".
