Makemkv says I use anydvd- I don't

And then I get very strange results - hundreds of titles extracted when there are only a handful on the disc.

Anybody know what it's looking for to decide that AnyDVD is there?

Look at your disc. If it has an ANY! folder instead of an AACS folder, 2 things. 1) It was decrypted by AnyDVD regardless of whether you use AnyDVD or not (I'm guessing this is an ISO not an actual disc?). 2) See 1) where I said it was decrypted. Meaning it's not protected.

I just bought "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas", new, off Amazon. It came all shrink-wrapped and the disc looks legit. Yet MakeMKV is telling me I have AnyDVD enabled (it's not even installed). I saw the previous reply here, and checked, and sure enough, the disc has an ANY! folder instead of an AACS folder.

Have I been ripped off somehow?

Yes. For a kid I bought the 1977 movie "Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown" and it had that directory. I think I found the definitive proof that it's a bootleg on the AVS forum, but I'm not positive on that (could of been doom9). I bought it 2 more times from 2 other sources any they were the same. Regardless of being a ripoff/bootleg, it's the best quality I can find (I watched it) so I can't complain but, I do wonder what/where the original source is.

Actually I think I just found the source for mine, it appears to be the "Snoopy Collection" Blu-Ray.
