New Beta Version

Post by Bassman »

I am missing current Beta Version, still seeing 1.17.5 and the Test period hast been running out. What's up?

I have seen nothing about a different version. The expiring key means you'll have to enter a new key in a few days.

Choice is whether you'll buy a key, or wait for the new beta key to be posted in the "special message" about it. That might take a day or five.

when will a new key be going up
Approximately 10 to 15 seconds after the author uploads it. There is no other answer than that, since he generates the keys.

Why do we now get a "this is shareware and 30 day trial" popup now? is something different? is that a CYA?

If you have registered, you should not see that message.

The "30 day" message is for accessing Bluray disks, and you need to reset it if you're doing BDs. You do that by re-entering the beta key once per month. It won't affect DVDs; only the expiration of the beta key affects that.
