how to I make .mkv file of main title from a disc backup

I did a disc backup with makemkv and thought I also ripped an mkv. Apparently I forgot to make the mkv. My dog chewed up the disc after the fact. So how do I load the backup into makemkv and create an mkv of the movie?

Appreciate the help in advance. Tried a quick search but didnt see answer.

Navigate to the directory you saved it in open the index file in makemkv and they you can make a mkv from that
