Just found this program yesterday and really like the simplicity. However when I try to run it reading from a DVD I get a FAILURE: Code 182 and then 832 and some code 0's and then a failed to save title to file.
I have tried this with several DVDs all with the same result.
If I look at the folder I can see the file being written there but after the error it is gone.
If I read a file from DVD Fab I do not get the problem.
I am using 1.4.1 beta
Using direct disc access mode

Re: FAILURE: Code 182 and 832
What kind of DVD is that? Did you rip it with any particular program? The error means that DVD files are incorrect. Please provide some more details.

Re: FAILURE: Code 182 and 832
The DVDs I tried were the original X-men movie, Journey to the Centre of the Earth and Journey to the Centre of the Earth 3D. All are original DVDs, region code 4 for Australia and PAL. The dump is from the X-men movie which is now a few years old, the other 2 have just been released here in Australia. Don't know any more details to give you.
The error only comes up if I use MakeMKV with the original DVDs, if I use DVD Fab first I have no problems reading the files with MakeMKV.

Re: FAILURE: Code 182 and 832
I have now tried another 5 DVDs and they have all worked, I have also re-tried X-men (incase I had changed something) but it still fails. I guess it was just a fluke that I tried 3 DVDs that did not work first up. Still it would be good to know why they did not work.mr_david_o wrote:The error only comes up if I use MakeMKV with the original DVDs, if I use DVD Fab first I have no problems reading the files with MakeMKV.
