Hi
I have an mkv file made from a BR disc - the file is 8.3 GB - I want to convert this over to AVCHD so that I can play it on a standalone BR player
when I use TSMuxer to create the AVCHD there is another 6% added to comply with what BR needs and then I can't fit the movie onto a DVD-9..
Any solutions here ?
Thanks
mkv file too large..

You can transcode it to 720p or to lower bitrate, but that will take awful amount of time. Also keep in mind AVCHD format does not support any subtitles.

thanks Mike..
if not AVCHD then what options are there to keep quality as is and play on a standalone player ?
Can I use Imgburn to make a regular DVD-9?
