MakeMKV message: 'Can't find any usable optical drives.'

I am new to MakeMKV and have not been able to rip my DVDs yet due to the message: ''Can't find any usable optical drives.' This message pops up after the DVD is inserted in the DVD tray and after MakeMKV has performed a scan. What is the problem? Thank you!

Are you running Windows 10? Try running MakeMKV as an administrator (right click on the makemkv shortcut, and select "Run as Administrator".
