hello,
before I buy a Blu-Ray drive, I would like to make sure that I can play it via DNLA on my Samsung TV (AU40d500).
The TV spec says I can play 1080p mkvs with H.264 BP/MP/HP video, 25 Mbps bitrate, MP3 / AC3 /LPCM / ADPCM / DTS Core audio.
I would like to make sure by trying to play a sample on my TV. Would anyone mind uploading a short blu-ray makemkv rip ?
Thanks,
Can someone pls upload a sample blu-ray conversion video?

One thing to keep in mind is that not all Blu-ray discs use H.264 for the video track.
Possible workarounds include (1) introducing a re-encoding step in your workflow, (2) using non-DLNA setup (e.g. use Plex for streaming, where you can configure the Plex Media Server to re-encode on-the-fly), or (3) getting a more capable media player/streamer (some TVs tend to be quite limited in terms of what video/audio/subtitle formats they support, whereas dedicated devices try to support at least what most people will attempt to throw at them, when possible).
