I use MakeMKV to stream ISO-Images to my LG Bluray player. This works fine, except that I cannot pause the stream (which makes it unusable, basically).
If I produce an MKV-file, it plays well, both from attached drive or through another streaming programm (serviio), I can pause, and fastforwarding in the stream works much better.
I have a slight suspicion that it is because MakeMKV identifies the file as ".vob" rather than ".mkv", hence there are minor incompatibilities (on some ISO-images, the subtitle colour is off as well when streamed). Would it be possible to either address this problem directly (i.e. enable "pausing" if this is the problem, though it's no problem in VLC) or to at least correctly identify the file as ".mkv"
