How to convert HDTV when track information chnages

I'm trying to convert my HDTV recordings to MKV.

Normally recordings start few minutes before intended program. If program has multiple audio tracks, DD tracks
or any other tracks that are not present at the beginning of the recording, makemkv seems not to
recognize tracks and skips them from conversion.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Are you sure you're using MakeMKV? Last time I checked, it couldn't open MPEG Transport or Program streams.

It really sounds like you're using mkvmerge or something similar, not MakeMKV.
