TGZ re-submission required?

Post by TheTurricanator »

Hey everyone,

At the end of last month I submitted three TGZ dumps, and am still not able to have the software decrypt the discs. I see it fetching the latest updates when attempting to read the discs, so I don't believe it's related to some setting on my side. I've submitted files for decryption in the past, and after a few days the discs always become readable (hats off to the person/people working on implementing the decryption for the discs!).

My fear is that my mails got stuck in the spam folder, (or maybe the author is dealing with a huge backlog?) so my question is - should I re-submit the requests, or wait a bit longer?

It wouldn't hurt to send the emails with the dumps again.

If generated the TGZ disc dump files with an LG/Asus drive you can post a link to the files here and support will be added to the public keydb today. You can then configure MakeMKV to use the public keydb to decrypt your discs.

If you only have access to a Pioneer drive unfortunately you will have to continue waiting.
