I have been a Linux user exclusively forever, so I'm very uninformed when it
comes to buying a license for software. I couldn't find any details on
the license on the website.
If you purchase a single lifetime license for one computer, and then you
want/need to upgrade that computer (for example, you replace the
motherboard/CPU/memory), will your purchased license still continue to
work on the upgraded computer, or are you expected/required to buy
a new license?
I'd like to support makemkv, it's great, and I can't find any other way
to backup a DVD, but I might want to wait to purchase
a license until I upgrade my computer....
What does lifetime license include?
Re: What does lifetime license include?
MakeMKV isn't owned by Microsoft. It doesn't make a detailed analysis of your computer and ask a server if it's the right one.
You enter a key and it activates, that's all.
