Is MakeMKV beta not free anymore?

Hi,

isn't MakeMKV Beta free anymore?

When I started the programm today, I first got the message, that the key is out of time, but when I registered with the current copied key it says either the version of MakeMKV is too old or

Evaluation period has expired. Please purchase an activation key if you've found this applikation useful. You may still use all free functionality without any restrictions.

But I installed already the version 1.9.6, before I had the version 1.9.5.
Then I deinstalled it and cleaned my registry and installed it again - but no difference!

The current key should work until today, but it does not?!

If I set the system date (of windows) back to first day of september it works again!!

Now it says here, the key is valid until end of november.
But it still does not work!
