Recording Onto A Blank DVD

I am using Windows 10 and have just downloaded MakeMKV to try and copy a Homemade DVD (DVD+RW) - the copy seems to have been made successfully- with an error that the software sorted. I now want to copy this file onto a DVD-RW. I have saved the file and can find it OK
My question is what to do next to copy the file onto a blank DVD using MakeMKV if this is possible
I do have DVD-R and DVD -RW blank discs - both types are120 minutes which is enough for the DVD

If you are only copying the file, the Windows DVD writer will work. If you're trying to create a DVD that can be played in a DVD player, you need DVD authoring software that is capable of reading MKV files as their input.

In any case, you might want to consider a media player instead. I picked up a "Blusmart 1080P Full HD Multi TV Media Player" online for $30 recently that works fine for content on flash drives, and even works without a remote. It's been my portable unit for 6 months, traveling with a projector and speakers, as a "one bag video system". There are a lot of others out there, though, under $100, that will work fine with MKV files.

With a media player, it's just copy what you need to a USB drive, plug it in and go. No easy-to-scratch disks, and a LOT less space taken up.
