MKV on Mac Desktop - wont let me clean trash

MKV doesn't install in applications. It installed on the desk top as a disc image and wont let me clear trash because system says it is in use. Any workarounds? Anyone else having the issue?

When you installed MakeMKV, did you install it using the administration account (I don't know what it's called on a Mac)? Did you enable installing unsigned applications?

MakeMKV should NOT interfere with your trash folder, in any case.
