Hi! all
Is there a best way to test the output of MakeMkv apart visually using VLC.
Sometimes I got some problems trying to burn a DVD from that mkv and
I can't be sure where the problem came from. I'm using Handbrake to
shrink down, as backup, and sometimes it work better using this backup.
Thanks all
Dan

Re: Best way to test the MKV from MakeMkv
You can do a search for "mkvtoolnix" to find the official MKV "tool kit".
But just know that sometimes the problem isn't the MKV file, but the CODECs used in the original. If you try to burn a DVD from a source that used, say, the VC-1 Interlaced CODEC for video, that isn't going to work. Running it through Handbrake changes the video CODEC to something your DVD software understands.
