Ripping a 3D BluRay

Post by funnel »

Hi,

Iam new to MKV and maybe I have to improve the workflow

I ripped a 3D Bluray by selecting the 3 biggest video files (each of them around 32 GB). I then played back the file on my fantec 3ds4600. At first it played back the file in 2D but I was able to switch to 3D. Nevertheless, when I selected "Side by Side" the movie played very well in 3D as well as when I select "Top and Bottom".

What I thought is that makeMKV selects just one procedure. Am I wrong?

MakeMKV does not DEFAULT to ripping the MVC track of 3D disks. You need to click on the little triangle next to the title in the left window, and put a check mark next to the MVC track.
