MakeMKV does not re-encode anything so it cannot influence the bitrate of anything.
MakeMKV ONLY rips discs into an MKV container. The audio and video streams from the source do NOT get altered and neither do their bitrates.
It is therefore impossible for MakeMKV to affect the bitrate of anything.
Where are you seeing a bitrate of 8000 ? What does MediaInfo say about those files ? What was the source of the files you are referring too ?
