Beta key and Blu rays
Does the beta key work to keep the Blu ray ripping feature, or do you have to purchase a key to keep that feature? Also, when the beta key expires at the end of November, will there be an updated new beta key?
Re: Beta key and Blu rays
When a new version comes out, the key is updated (v1.8.6 came out a few days ago). Installing the new version updates the key automatically. And yes, it keeps the BD rip working... both by updating the key, and incorporating any changes in BDs since the last update.
If a new version doesn't come out before the current version's key expires, Mike posts a new key in the announcements section, by updating the "free while in beta" message.
Buying your own key eliminates that hassle, of course.

Re: Beta key and Blu rays
Cool. Thank you. I was just wondering because when I first installed it, it told me I have 60 days to use the software, but when I used the Blu ray feature, it said that feature is shareware, and I only had 30 days to try it out.
