hi, just downloaded makemkv and it seems to do what i need. the strange part is that when it finishes the file, the app just hangs and i have to kill the process. no more data is being written to the file (that i can see). i have left it overnight just in case it was finishing the file, but it did not help. this is what shows when i kill the app.

what kind of drive do you have and what OS are you running? The error seems to be related to your drive, but it is unclear. when app hangs does it look like "makemkv" application uses 100% cpu and "makemkvcon" uses 0% CPU in task manager?

hi, i've been away for some time. i was on vista sp2 with the above issue. my laptop has an Otiarc ad-7530a. the process does go down to 0% usage, but the app does not close. i copy the file from it's location to test, and it is fully copied @ a 1:1 ratio, no compression. then i kill the app. thanks,

ok, tested it today on win7 with 1.4.9 and it works like a charm. thanks. on a side note, this does a 1:1 conversion of the source, correct?
