What BR drive should I buy?

I have two external USB Blu-ray drives, one is the Plextor PX-B310U which is powered externally, and the other is an unbranded drive that is powered via the USB. Both of them work fine, however the Plextor is a little faster. Basically any drive will work, the question is how long it will last.
