Grainy background (blu ray rip, ripped with os x)

Hey,
I copied several movies, but every film has a slight grainy background, especially if the background is brighter. I have played the mkv files with VLC and Plex and both players have the same problem. What is it?
Please help me

MakeMKV does not make a change to the video.

I know, that makemkv doesn?t change the video stream But all Blu Ray?s have normal quality (no grainy background etc.)... So something must went wrong i think.

How does it compare to the original?? The streams are identical, so, if there's a difference then it's likely in your playback software.

Lots of Blu-rays are grainy. That's one of the advantages of Blu-ray: it can reproduce film grain reasonably accurately, so it doesn't have to get filtered out before encoding.
