Latest MakeMKV cannot see Samsung SE-506 drive
I am running Sonoma 14.7.4 on an M1 MacBook Air. I downloaded the lastest 1.18.2 MakeMKV. It no longer is able to see my USB-connected Samsung SE-506 external Blu-ray drive. I had no issues with this in the prior MakeMKV version. I do have a dual USB-C hub that provides the USB-A ports. This all did work previously. Any thoughts on what the issue might be? Thanks

What things changed? Just the version of MakeMKV? What version were you using before?
Is the USB-C hub new?
If you put a disc in the drive, does it mount in Finder?
As a side note, I doubt it matters for MakeMKV but the most recent version of Sonoma is 14.8.3. It seems odd to me to be on Sonoma 14.7.4.
For that matter, why be on Sonoma at all? I understand why you might not want to upgrade to macOS 26 Tahoe, but macOS 15 Sequoia is perfectly fine. 15.7.3 is the most recent version of Sequoia. (How to download and install macOS)
