Chapters not working

Hi

I opened an index.bdmv file which fetched me an MPEG4 file with 11 chapters. The file size is 37gb. MakeMKV converted the file to MKV without any problem, but when I play the movie on my Samsung LCD, it neither allows fowarding function nor skips chapters and give the message: "Not Allowed". Is makeMKV ony showing the chapters before converting it to MKV and actually not keeping the chapters intact?
