EaseFab Stolen Message

Today, when attempting to Backup my Blu-Ray device with their product, I received a message claiming that they are using a Stolen Copy of makemkv to perform their backups. Is there any action I can take to make up for my ignorance? I double checked their rep and this hadn't come up anywhere I went.

A message from WHAT? Was MakeMKV running at the time?

EaseFab, is the software that I used, when the message popped up. I did not know of MakeMKV at the time even, so it was not installed.

It looks like EaseFab may have been reskinning or using parts of MakeMKV for their Video backup software.

hmm i wonder if mike built in a warning for programs using his stuff in the background other than libredrive.
using libredrive is 1 thing..
but just putting a skin on top of makemkv with some extra encoding features is just wrong
and it seems they are not the only ones who have done it others have too.

There is that one message from mike himself:

Even the most current version of Leawo BluRay Ripper uses MakeMKV, hidden in the file jasmine.bin:

Though I did not find any file with MakeMKV as string in its contents in EaseFabs files:

Not sure if it would download something during install (I only extracted the Setup installer from their downloads)

It ran for far more than 45 days without this message coming up. It is a very clear pop up message that declares STOLEN and offers a link to this site's stolen page.
