Region Codes

Does it matter which region code a DVD or BR has, when I'm just using MakeMKV to rip it for use in Plex?
I've found a hard-to-find DVD set that is only for Region code 2. I usually don't watch movies from DVD-> TV,
I have mostly been watching them from Plex using a tablet.

Assuming your drive does not explicitly BLOCK reading the disk (there are some older drives that try), what is ripped by MakeMKV does not have "region coding" anymore.
