If I don't need subtitles, only forced subs, do I just tick the subtitle track in Makemkv or both Subtitle and Forced only or only "Forced only"?
Is it sufficient to just select Foreign Audio Search in Handbrake (burned in) if I have the Subtitle track?
Thanks

Re: Forced Subs - Handbrake Foreign Audio Search
For MOST disks, just unchecking the main subtitle track will make them go away. Occasionally, though, there are disks with FORCED subtitles, so you could get some of those (not many).

Re: Forced Subs - Handbrake Foreign Audio Search
I usually check all the English subtitles in MakeMKV then figure out which one I want using Handbrake's live sample. Often I'll get "all voice", "all sounds and voice", "foreign language" and "director's comments". The one you may not see in a short sample is the "foreign language" which you can keep as a subtitle or burn in with Handbrake.gordonepalmer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 8:55 amIf I don't need subtitles, only forced subs, do I just tick the subtitle track in Makemkv or both Subtitle and Forced only or only "Forced only"?
