Hi,
I just transfered my Windows 11 installation to a Unraid-VM. Using makemkv 17.1 makemkv shows an error about an iscsi-field that is not valid. The disk cannot be read by makemkv. The uhd-drive is connected by a pcie-sata-controller which is passed through to the vm.
Is there a specific controller (pcie-card) or vm-setting that has to be used for makemkv to work properly?
Kind regards,
unraid win11 vm
Re: unraid win11 vm
Most likely, Win11 is not treating MakeMKV as a program allowed to access hardware. Are you installing as an admin?

Re: unraid win11 vm
just as a tip you can also just use MakeMKV as docker in unraid.
Then you don't have to use the VM.

Thank you @woodstock and @ranger for your short dated reply.
I found the makemkv docker container and it is up and running but I do need the Windows installation for some other applications. Activated the 'admin' feature with Windows.
