1.17.0 vs 1.16.7 on BW-16D1HT 1.01

I have two BW-16D1HT, a 1.01 and 3.10MK. I keep the 1.01 installed because it's good at ripping damaged disks. I have a Spider-Man Homecoming disk with factory defects that the 3.10/3.10MK drive can't rip, however the 1.01 can. But MakeMKV 1.17.0 broke the 1.01 drives ability to do that so I reverted back to 1.16.7..

On 1.17.0 both drives spit out the typical read errors then fail. On 1.16.7 the 1.01 drive will spit out a few errors but brute force past them and the movie plays fine.

The 1.01 drive has ripped over 1000 disks with MakeMKV versions from 1.14 to 1.16 and only two disks failed to rip, but those disks were so bad even the Blu-Ray player couldn't handle the errors. 1.17 seems to have a problem.

Just sharing my experience, maybe it'll help.

There were no (purposely made) changes in 1.17.0 to stop 1.01 firmware. I would highly appreciate the log file.
