Hey all,
I have been using MakeMKV for ages. I had an old version and hadn't used it in a while. 1.15xxx, I forget. Anyway I was prompted to update to 1.16.4 and after I uninstalled and reinstalled it immediately gives me the "The program can't find any usable optical drives" message when I launch.
I've got "Ask for single drive mode" checked
I have four drives. They are all Asus BW-16D1HT with a modified firmware from a couple years back or so.
Windows sees the drives just fine.
If I uninstall and then reinstall, I will initially get the prompt to select a drive letter. If I close the app and reopen it, I am back to the same error.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Turn off ransomware protection if that fixes it turn it back up and add all makemkv exes as an exception
If that don't work run it's as admin
