So I have bought a few discs recently that were manufactured on demand by Warner Archive. As far as I know, Warner offer this service for out of print movies (correct me if I'm wrong).
On two occasions though, MakeMKV has shown a warning - "This disc was probably recorded with DVDFab and is not genuine". The discs rip perfectly, of course, but I'm concerned with the MakeMKV warning because it implies the disc is not genuine.
I know there are some false positives with this warning. But does anyone know if discs manufactured on demand from Warner Archives are prone to false positives and likely to show this warning? Or am I just being conned by the store and the discs are not genuine?

Re: Fake DVD warning with Warner Archive discs
pretty sure that warning is displayed when there's no aacs decryption + no evidence that it was decrypted with MakeMKV.
Just so happens that a lot of MoD discs are shipped without AACS encryption in the first place (and no evidence that they were decryted by MakeMKV) and hence the warning.
